Around the Seattle area, the Plums are falling off the trees. They are perfect for snacks, sauces, jams, dehydrating and in baked goodies. Since my cousin and a neighbor have been sharing their bounty with us, I’ve found myself with 25lbs of them to use. I’ve made Plum Sauce, Plum Cake and Asian Plum Sauce. That helped use up about 10lbs. The rest have been eaten up as snacks in my son’s classroom, in smoothies and I even have a frozen stash for later.
